The Frugal Foodista blogger would love to try out the other tours around the city, but would recommend the Faneuil Hall Chocolate Tour, particularly to those who are looking for a fun and tasty way to see this part of the city.
I totally enjoyed myself. Would recommend this to anyone that loved chocolate and wanted to make some.
Thankful for a beautiful winter day in Boston to do this tour. Our tour guide did a terrific job and each stop was a chocolate delight.
I thought our tour guide was great! The only hesitation I would have on doing this again is that there was really no chocolate candy and that was what I sort of expected. It sounded as if we would be getting to taste more than we did so that was a tad disappointing but overall, because the Victoria was so personable and each place we went into had great employees who welcomed us, I enjoyed the experience.
It was great to visit all the local shops in the area and taste all the varieties of chocolate. One suggestion I would have is perhaps to find places where the tours can see the process of making the chocolate products that are being tasted (i.e. Bakery, ice cream shop, etc.) I understand this is probably not possible for a lot of vendors but if such a vendors but if one allows it that would be a great addition to the tour!
Great tour!!!! Victoria was a fantastic tour guide! Will certainly recommend this to others
