The Autism Project is a unique collaboration of parents and professionals. It is their mission to develop a comprehensive system of care and resources that meet the needs of both children and adults with autism including: education, health, vocational skills, career development, and social community needs. The Autism Project works to ensure that children with ASD receive and benefit from an appropriate education and related therapeutic services within their local school, community and home. Their programs educate parents and families in their newest role as teachers, but more importantly as mothers and fathers. They will be hosting a chocolate and dinner auction on Saturday, November 13, 2010 to increase awareness and raise funds to help with autism.
